A Psalm 119:49-56 Prayer

Remember your word to your servant;
you have given me hope through it.
This is my comfort in my affliction:
Your promise has given me life.
The arrogant constantly ridicule me,
but I do not turn away from your instruction.
Lord, I remember your judgments from long ago and find comfort.
Fury seizes me because of the wicked who reject your instruction.
Your statutes are the theme of my song during my earthly life.
Lord, I remember your name in the night,
and I obey your instruction.
This is my practice: I obey your precepts.
Psalm 119:49-56 CSB

Lord Most High, remember Your word to me. All my life I've had hope because of it. Your word is my comfort in my affliction. Your Promise has given me life, and Your presence has sustained me.

Though the arrogant ridicule me, I will not turn away from Your instruction. What You think, Lord, matters more to me. I remember Your judgments and find comfort in knowing who You are and what You can do. I do get angry at those who reject Your instructions, for Your laws have been a shield for me and have carried me through this life.

Lord, I remember Your name in the night. I obey Your Word. This is my practice. This is my song. I obey Your precepts. For You are God Almighty, and I desire to honor You. Remember me, O Lord. Amen.
