A Psalm 121 Prayer

"I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore."
Psalm‬ 121 ESV

Most Precious Lord, I thank you for being my help. You, who made heaven and earth, choose to help me, to protect me, to be with me. Lord, keep me this day and this night in Your protective care. I know I am safe with You because Your foot will not be moved and You will not slumber or sleep. I can, though, rest easy because my life is in Your hands. Thank you, Father.

Lord, You are indeed my keeper. I give my life to You. You cover me with Your authority and power so that nothing can strike me or dishonor me that isn't Your will. You, Lord, will keep me from all evil. Your victory over the punishment of sin will keep my life free from death. You will guard my going out and coming in, protecting the steps of my life on Your path forevermore. Praise be unto You! Amen.
