"The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!"
--Psalm 24 (ESV)--
Heavenly Father, praise be unto you! The earth and everything and everyone in it is yours, Lord. All authority belongs to you! For you are the Creator God. You established the earth upon the seas and rivers. Who is able to be near your holiness, to ascend the hill of the Lord?
Clean my hands and purify my heart, O God, by the power of the blood of Jesus that I may be able to be near you. Keep my soul from what is false and my lips from deceit. Bless me, Lord, and grant me righteousness, O God of my salvation.
I seek You. I look to You. I lift up my head and my heart to You. I open to Your will and your glory. Come, Lord Jesus. Fill me with your holy presence! King of glory, mighty God, I invite you to come into my life, my heart, my soul, my home, my relationships, my present and my future. Make your presence and glory known. I belong to you. You are the Lord of lords, the King of kings. Glory be to Your name! Amen.
