A Psalm 25:11-22 Prayer

"For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?

He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.

Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish. Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. See how numerous are my enemies and how fiercely they hate me!

Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.

Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!"

My Lord, my Father, forgive me for my sins. I know they are great, Lord. but I know You are greater. I'm sorry for choosing my own way and not the way You have instructed me. Please, forgive me. I have the deepest respect for You even though I haven't shown it. I'm sorry for that, too.

Show me Your ways, Lord, that I may spend my days in prosperity and so that all my descendants will inherit Your promises. I desire closeness with You, Lord. Confide in me. Make Your covenant known to me. My eye are ever on You, Lord, for You alone can release me from the snare of the enemy. I refuse to be dragged down and captured by the lonely ways of this world, for I belong to You.

Turn to me, Lord, and be gracious to me. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from this suffering. Look at all my anguish and distress, Lord, and take away all my sins. My enemies are numerous and they fiercely hate me, for they do not want me to win. Guard my life and rescue me! Do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in You. You are my win, Lord Jesus.

May integrity and the upright position of my heart and intentions protect me because my hope, Lord, is in You. Deliver all Your people, O God, from all their troubles! You are holy and good and loving in all Your ways. I put my trust in You. Amen.
