"I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing."
~Psalm 34:1-10 (NIV)
Heavenly Father, I will enthusiastically and eagerly praise you at all times. You are worthy, Lord. My lips will always praise you. I will magnify You, Lord, for You are faithful, constant, good, and righteous in all Your ways. Let those who are afflicted around me hear and rejoice as they witness Your goodness, Lord, so that we may together exalt Your name.
I seek You, Lord, with all of my heart. Hear my prayers. See my needs. Answer me and deliver me from all of my fears, worries, and concerns for the future. You have proven over and over that those who look to You have never been covered in shame instead they are radiant with Your glory. Prove this once again in my life, Lord.
I am poor and needy, so I call to You and You hear me. You will save me from all of my troubles. I believe it full well. Send Your angels to surround me and deliver me. I have tasted and seen Your goodness many times; and so I take refuge in You knowing that You will come through once again. I fear and revere You, Lord Almighty. I lack nothing because You are my God. The enemy who prowls around like a roaring lion will weaken and grow hungry because he cannot have victory over me. I am Yours, Lord. I seek You and Your good plans for my life. You have all authority; I trust in You. I lack no good thing because I have the best thing--You. Praise be to Your name and to Your faithfulness! Amen.
