Heavenly Father, storms spread across the sky, but Your merciful arms are already stretched out. How glorious You are! In the shadow of Your wings I am safe from the darkness of Despair, Distress, and Disaster seeking to destroy me. I cry out to You and You hear me. For You, O God, will fulfill Your purpose for me.
The lying Lion roars and sets traps on my path to shame me, disgrace me, and take me down to his despicable level. Your mighty hand is a net for my feet and keeps me from falling. My praises are lifted to You for You are lifting me! You are the Most High God. I exalt You! For You, O God, will fulfill Your purpose for me.
The deeper Your love, the higher it goes. I thank You with all of my heart, my steadfast heart--a creation of Your steadfast love--for in You my soul takes refuge. My heart will forever sing of your faithfulness. It reaches to the skies. Great is Your love and worthy of praise. For You, O God, will fulfill Your purpose for me.
Soar and shine Your glory, Lord. Let it be known! May all who see Your glory praise You! Be exalted, O God forever and ever. For You, O God, will fulfill Your purpose for me. Amen.
