A Psalm 62:1-4 Prayer

Updated: Nov 11, 2023

"I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold;
I will never be shaken.
How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you attackas if he were a leaning wallor a tottering fence? They only plan to bring him down from his high position. They take pleasure in lying; they bless with their mouths, but they curse inwardly."
~Psalm 62:1-4 (CSB)

Lord God, in you alone I find true rest. In you alone I find freedom. Be my rock and my salvation today. Be my stronghold, Lord, that I may be protected, strengthened and not shaken by the attacks of the enemy. Keep out his wicked ways. Keep out his attempts to threaten me and make me feel guilty and ashamed.

Don't allow anyone in my life who seeks only his/her own position. Keep the right people in my life to uplift me and protect me as You do. Help me to discern when talk is true or false. Help me to see when someone is real or fake. Bless me with Your truths, Lord. Give me success and victory in all I do for you today and in the days to come. You are my rock and my place of true rest. I am secured in You. Thank you, my Savior. In your most holy name I pray, Amen.
