You Matter.

"Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.

When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God."

Psalm 146:3-5 NIV

You matter to God. He delights in you (see Psalm 147:11) so much that you can go to Him with all of your brokenness, concerns, mistakes and feelings, and He will receive you, care for you, love you. Let Him fill you with His peace as you pour your heart out to Him. God will never let you leave empty when you spend time in His presence. You matter that much to Him. So, don't put your trust in other people to secure you--their humanness limits them. Put your trust in the Lord--who is limitless and--who sees you, hears you, values you, and loves you because you matter.
